Project management methodologies will often tell a project manager when to do something, and often what to do. The problem is that these methods do not tell the project manager how to do something, nor what tools may be available and how to use them. This area of the site aims to redress that balance.
The courses available in this section are for those involved with projects, from those just starting out in this arena to directors and senior managers responsible for projects.
This area of the site will be of most
interest to those who do not wish
to use a specific methodology, such
as PRINCE2
or Dynamic Systems development Method
(DSDM), but are looking for something
a little more generic. The basic principles
of good project management obviously
still apply, but techniques are much
more easily adapted into a working
environment than a full scale method. |
